Bulldozer
I know your name but I do not recognize you
you look at me
but the light in your eyes carry a different glow
a fire for sure, but one I fear may consume me
you reach for me
and the electricity that would jolt through me has a potency to it now
it has left a trace of colors on my skin;
no, not the happy kind
you speak to me
and the music of your voice distracts me from the blow of your words
As soon as they hit me, I crumble
You are the bull-dozer I see and hear coming,
but like a building, I am rooted to the ground, unable to move.
