Polio is a dangerous disease that has plagued the world for years. Fortunately in 1953, Dr. Jonas Salk developed a vaccine for Polio which is given to children at infant stages up to 6 years of age.
In Nigeria and other third world countries however, Polio is still a struggle and we all need to put hands together and do what we can – even making documentaries like Miss Bello – to end the menace.
Miss Bello has made Nigeria and Plateau State proud and will represent Africa on the international stage next year July.
